The Wellington Racecourse has a 1440m track set amongst rolling bushland hills and mountain ranges. It sits beside the winding Bell River and is not far from the famous Wellington Caves and Lake Burrendong Dam.
The Wellington Racecourse is renowned for its major annual event held in March, ‘The Wellington Boot’, an 1100m race for 2 year olds that attracts a lot of attention. The ‘Boot’ is held over a traditional 2 day carnival which attracts interest from all parts of the world.
With nine race meetings a year we provide a family atmosphere at everyone with jumping castles at most meetings for the kids, our biggest family day by far is out Boxing Day Race Meeting. Our club boasts full bar and catering facilities, full totalizator facilities, undercover bookmaker ring and a scenic country track with ample shade and seating.
